Abstract This video documents the presentation of Giselle with prima ballerina, Alicia Alsonso and Vladimir Vasiliev, the most distinguished male dancer of his era performing together for the first time. Half of the original master was erased. This DVD contains the unerased part and additional material of scenes filmed in the dress rehearsal and from other sources. From these sources, technicians were able to put together the entire ballet.
