General noteCalculated by Osgood Carleton. The calculations in the calendar pages are identical to those in his An astronomical diary: or, An almanack for 1791 (Boston: S. Hall), and the eclipse predictions are a condensed version of those appearing there. There are frequent correspondences in the notes on the calendar pages despite the fact that Carleton's signed almanac features astronomical material in this column much more than does the present publication.
General noteIdentical in content and typography, including the title page border ornament but excepting the title page wording, to: Bickerstaff's genuine almanack for 1791 (Boston: Printed and sold by Joseph Bumstead). Advertisements by Joseph Bumstead and Ebenezer Larkin, p. [24].
General noteSignatures: A-B⁶.
