Hall), with the exception of the tide times for May through December. The calculations in the eclipse predictions are also identical. Most of the astronomical notes on the calendar pages correspond to those in Carleton's almanac, except that the latter has more of them and with frequent slight differences in the calculations here. The weather predictions on the same pages are generally parallel. Evans attributed the almanac, as he did most of those issued under the Bickerstaff pseudonym, to Benjamin West.;
