General noteThe calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages are identical with those in Greenleaf's New York, Connecticut & New Jersey almanack for 1797 (New York) and Hutchins improved for 1797 (New York), both calculated by Andrew Beers, though without his name on their title pages. As in previous issues, they also duplicate those in Webster's calendar, or The Albany almanack for 1797, published by Charles R. and George Webster under the pseudonym of Isaac Bickerstaff.
