General noteEvidently by Osgood Carleton. The calculations on the calendar pages are identical with the corresponding columns among those in Carleton's Almanack for 1795 (Boston: T. Hall), which devotes two pages to each month. The astronomical notes on the same pages correspond to those in Carleton's almanac, except that the latter has more of them and with frequent slight differences in the calculations here. The calculations in the eclipse predictions are identical.
General noteAlso issued as Bickerstaff's Almanack for 1795, and as Weatherwise's Almanack for 1795, each with the imprint "Boston: Printed for, and sold by the booksellers," and identical with the present almanac in typography and contents except for the title page. Both have the advertisement by Bumstead at the end.
